Provides
roll-by-roll listings of the 1930 census microfilm. Population
census schedules are broken down by state, county, and enumeration
district, while the beginning and ending codes are provided
for each roll of the Soundex. An introduction explains how
to use the records, summarizes the instructions to the census
enumerators, and tells how to order microfilm copies of schedules,
Soundex, and related microfilm. Copies of the catalog will
be available upon request without charge to U.S. research
and reference libraries.

to Purchase Microfilm
NARA is now accepting "whole state" and "whole
country" orders for microfilmed 1930 census schedules
(T626) and related microfilmed 1930 soundexes.The microfilm
will be shipped the first week of April 2002. The price is
$34 per roll ordered ($39 to foreign addresses) for black
and white microfilm (census schedules and soundex). Credit
card orders are accepted at 1-800-234-8861.
All
other 1930 census schedule and related soundex microfilm purchases
(individual rolls, less than a "whole state") will
be accepted beginning April 1, 2002.
Microfilm
publication T1224, Descriptions of Census Enumeration Districts,
1830-1950 (156 rolls), 35mm black and white microfilm, is
$34 per roll ordered ($39 to foreign addresses), and can be
shipped upon completion of your order. Credit card orders

publication M1930, Enumeration District Maps for the Fifteenth
